What Do Our Athletes Say

James PeterkinJames Peterkin, Sophomore Middle Creek High School Football Wide Receiver Age 16 Wt. 197 Ht. 6’3″

I had a great experience here at Brown Strength & Conditioning! My coaches were encouraging and truly cared about my achievements. When I came in to the facility I was 6’3” and 181 lbs. My parents held me off the Varsity Football Squad at Middle Creek last year because they were afraid I would get hurt. During my 8 months training under the Brown Strength and Conditioning training system I put on 16lbs of lean muscle and increased my vertical by 2 inches.

The direction I received from my Strength Coaches at Brown Strength & Conditioning was incredible.  My flexibility has improved 100% compared to when I first started.  As I am going into my sophomore season I feel like I am ready to play at the Varsity level.  Thanks again for all of your help this past year! See you after football season for round II."

Kenzie McNeillyKenzie McNeilly, Freshman Virginia Commonwealth University Soccer Goalie

During my senior year of high school, I injured a disc in my low back.  After getting the MRI’s results I immediately began panicking that I would get out of shape in the two month recovery time.   I was committed to play soccer at VCU and was expected to be in shape when I reported for preseason in July.

Aaron quickly put together a work out plan that avoided any further injury to my back.  I was able to do a variety of exercises as I waited for my back to heal and by the end of the summer my leg strength and upper body strength had greatly benefited from Aaron’s workouts. My vertical jump increased by 2 inches even  though I hadn’t been able to jump due to my back in over 6 months.

When it came time for me to report to my college team, Aaron took the time to communicate with the strength & agility trainer and physical therapy staff at the college.  He told them what I had been doing, progress that I had made, and also had recommendations for my continued work out regimen.

I am glad I found out about Brown Strength & Conditioning.  It really helped me to be able to work out as I recovered.  My back has healed and I was able to transition into my college work outs.  I will definitely be back in the gym to work with Aaron next summer when I return from college.

Thanks a bunch!

"I thoroughly enjoyed working out at Browns Strength and Conditioning.  The coaches were very attentive and encouraging.  They truly were engaged in helping me achieve my goals.  From the very first session until the last one, it was amazing to see the progress I’d made.  It was very obvious to me when football season started how much stronger and faster I’d gotten.  I owe a big “Thank you” to the entire staff at BSC.  I’m looking forward to returning in the off season."

"The biggest change in my daughters athletic performance has come from Brown Strength and Conditioning.  The academy utilizes their services and I first heard about it from them.  Rachel has been trained with Aaron for about 5 months and I saw  a huge difference in all aspects of game and as an athlete."

“The progress I made at Brown Strength & Conditioning following a serious injury has been fantastic. Having been unfamiliar with strength training when I came from rehab, I am consistently impressed by the effectiveness through every phase of my training. Thank you!”

"Training with Aaron at Brown Strength & Conditioning all summer helped me get in peak strength and conditioning fitness so that I could go into pre-season in August with the ability and confidence to compete. I had the highest score on every preseason fitness test that the team performed.”

After the spring semester I was conditioned but still about 15 pounds overweight. I needed to find someone that could get me ready for the fall soccer season and I didn’t have much time. In just eight weeks time training with Aaron at Brown Strength & Conditioning I had  lost about twenty pounds and both my dynamic & static  vertical jump improved 4 & 6 inches. As a goalie my ability to jump is crucial!!”

“After my junior year in high school I wanted to add muscle and weight train in preparation for college soccer. I was able to gain almost 20 pounds in just over a year and feeling much more dominate on the field.”
